Have you realized that sin is like the bite of a deadly snake? That is the nature of sin. Sin is a poison within all people, even among good people. It is not a small external blemish that is basically harmless. Unless people find a cure beyond human ability, they will die miserably and eternally. People cannot heal themselves, but God can. He sent His Son ‘to give His life as a ransom for many’ and all who believe in Him, may live as He demands.

Lord, please help me to confess my sin and live daily as You instruct me in Your Word.
