Many of Jesus’ followers are called to give their lives for Him. Martyrs’ blood has marked the Church since its birth.

Our Lord, does not recruit witnesses for His name under the false premise that they will never have to suffer for His name. In fact, may Scriptures promise just the opposite.

Christ’s servants need not fear those who can kill only the body.
