Invitation to surrender
Do you understand the concept of surrender?
We know the song, “I surrender all – all to Thee my blessed Savior, I surrender all.”
It is easy to sing the lyrics. Is it really true in my life? Have I surrendered all to Jesus?
Surrender means yielding of oneself to position or power of another; to give oneself to another.
How much have I really given to Jesus? What am I holding back? Does my life reflect I have surrendered to Jesus?
Anything we give up is worth it because Jesus is worth it. In God’s economy, we receive more than we give or give up.
Surrender to Jesus is so worth it. He who gave His life for me is worthy of me giving up to my preferences, my priorities and my plans, and to accept His.
