Time spent alone before God, guided by His Word, uniquely renews and revitalizes God’s people. Like oxygen for your soul, you breathe God’s atmosphere when you are in prayer with Him. Your heart and mind are set on things above. God strengthens you to resist the pull of this world’s pressure to conform.  It may seem  impossible to make time to listen alone to what God says to you as you read the Bible and pray. The Lord knows your need. In every trial God provides a way out for believers so our faith can endure it.
