Jesus warned us to expect suffering. Consider this warning a great resource. Do not be  shaken in faith and confused when people hate, oppose, hurt or persecute you. Instead, find strength in his Word, because Jesus has warned us. Faith in Him as the Messiah brings persecution. Let the Word work in your heart. God calls us to allow His Word to renew our minds and transform our lives. Come continually to the Word, expecting the Holy Spirit to apply God’s Word to your changing life experiences. In good seasons and bad, He will sustain us.

Lord, please speak to me through the Word and guide me by Your Holy Spirit.
